Who we are
Our website address is: https://tyn-y-mur.co.uk.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Our site uses contact forms and booking forms, if you submit an enquiry via our contact form then we will ask for basic data so that we can answer your enquiry. If you submit an online booking then that is handled by our booking system, Insight, which stores the data securely on their external servers. We do not hold that data on our systems.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We use google analytics to monitor the basic performance of this website in relation to number of visitors, pages that people visit and length of time, we do not engage in data profiling any visitors.
Who we share your data with
Any data you supply is kept within the company and company systems for the duration that is required.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you make an enquiry and that does not turn into a booking then we would remove that after a period of 3 months.
If you make a booking with us then that would remain in our systems for a minimum of 12 months then securely destroyed.
